Senior Technical Marketing Manager - Data Protection Platform

Your Role:
As the Senior Technical Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and leading the content strategy for our Data Protection Platform. You will drive the creation of engaging blogs, webinars, demos, videos, and more, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Marketing, to highlight our platform's innovative features. Your role is essential in translating technical details into clear, action-driven content that demonstrates the value of our solutions to customers, partners, and prospects.
You will be the voice of Technical Product Marketing, crafting narratives that bridge the gap between technology and business value. You will simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them in a way that is accessible and impactful, making it easy for customers and sales teams to understand the benefits.
Responsibilities:
Own and develop the technical blog, webinar, and content strategy for the Data Protection Platform.
Manage the lifecycle of all technical assets, ensuring they are accurate, relevant, and customer-focused.
Be the technical subject matter expert, working directly with the product to explain complex features in a clear, engaging way.
Collaborate with Product Management and Strategy teams to develop compelling content for new product features and innovations.
Design and support campaigns using your technical expertise to create dynamic demos, technical videos, and interactive webinars.
Lead the creation of launch assets for new technologies and provide ongoing support for existing products.
Simplify technical benefits and communicate them in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring customer and partner engagement.
Partner with the Product Marketing team to refine the company's market positioning, using insights from competitive landscapes and buyer personas.
Requirements:
5+ years in B2B software roles such as technical sales, product marketing, product management, or sales engineering. Experience in backup, recovery, security, or monitoring is a plus.
Strong technical background with the ability to translate complex concepts into business value. Experience with cloud technologies or as a service (aaS) delivery is a plus.
Excellent storyteller with the ability to craft clear, compelling technical narratives, both written and verbal.
Comfortable presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to set and improve metrics, KPIs, and performance measures.
Innovative thinker who challenges the status quo and drives market growth through new ideas.
Proactive leader with the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Comfortable working in a remote, global team environment and open to occasional travel (up to 15%).
Compensation:
The salary for this role is based on experience and performance, with an On Target Earnings (OTE) range between $152,700 and $218,100 USD. This includes base and variable pay. Compensation will be adjusted based on the candidate's experience, education, and the responsibilities of the role.
